TAKE A WALK ALONG THE CANAL FOOTPATH

There's nothing better on a crisp morning than strolling along the canalside, taking in the wildlife and enjoying the peace it brings. Cheshire is of course home to the Cheshire ring, with 97 miles of canal it's beautiful to walk or cycle along. A little closer to Chester is the Shropshire Union Canal, charmingly rural, it boasts our beautiful marina, which is the perfect place to warm up along your route.

Remember, remember! The fifth of November... We will be excitedly watching the display at Bolesworth Castle but there are loads of bonfire night celebrations happening across the county.
