Our moorers in our marina can enjoy use of the cycle hire too! If you fancy exploring the countryside on two wheels instead of afloat on the river, you can simply hire a bike and start your adventure.

Previously the site of the London 2012 Olympics, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has become the heart of East London, full of activity, from national and international sporting competitions to concerts, festivals, art installations and more. Visitors can enjoy walking and cycling through the Park’s green open spaces and its tranquil waterways.
Lee Valley VeloPark is at the northern end of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It has a velodrome and BMX racing track, which have been used for the Olympic Games, as well as a one mile road course and 5 miles of mountain bike trails.
Epping Forest is well worth a visit for a cycling adventure, with over 170 miles of shared use paths which makes it a great place to explore by bike.

To book your bikes, just head to the Lee Valley Canoe Cycle website and book online.
Cycle hire costs £32 for a full day or £20 for a half day, but Roydon Marina Village guests get 10% off!
Booking is not essential; we welcome walk ins but advise pre-booking online to secure your bikes and avoid disappointment.
