Job description

We're looking for a driven individual to join the leadership team on one of our holiday parks, Long Ashes Park in the beautiful Wharfedale Valley.

Reporting to the Park Manager and Directors, you will be accountable for the efficiency of all aspects of the operation, including guest services, housekeeping, leisure services, maintenance, grounds, catering, retail, health, and safety, as well as administrative tasks.

Lakeland Leisure Estates is a family-owned company, running Holiday Parks and Marinas for over 30 years across the UK and Spain.

The skills required:

Previous leadership experience in the holiday park/leisure industry
Effective leadership across all areas of the holiday park
Ability to be accountable for the daily operations
Assisting with delivering performance targets against budget, stock levels and cost control whilst ensuring exceptional customer service
Ensuring each team is consistently performing to their maximum capacity and the highest level of standards are always provided to our guests, residents and owners
Ensuring our guests feel welcome and are presented with a safe, clean, and appealing environment which leads to increased customer satisfaction, return visits and increased profitability of the park
Delivering on-park training as required, ensuring delivery is consistent and engaging in-line with company procedures
To provide additional coaching and development with individuals where appropriate
Ensuring the park and company are being promoted appropriately in the local area
Ensure the park is positioned as the employer and holiday provider of choice
Communicating the vision and budgetary requirements of the company to staff members and provide feedback on park and company performance
Complete research and analysis, collate ideas to drive revenue across all areas of the business

Cafe Chef

Long Ashes Park | North Yorkshire

We're looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Chef to work in our Woodlands Cafe. Our new menus include alternative brunch, afternoon tea, pizzas and pastas. The kitchen has been recently modernised to accommodate the new menus.

You'll manage and coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Woodlands Cafe kitchen, providing the highest and most consistent standards of food preparation and delivery. Menu changes will be finalised with our Executive Chef and Hospitality Director but your ideas on dishes and promotions are always encouraged and supported. You'll be responsible for ensuring we meet our GP targets and you'll need to ensure that the kitchen and associated paperwork meet the 5 star standard required by the EHO at all times.
